Description of Project
Students and staff log onto the VLE and sign up for a fitness based challenge which would last a number of weeks to begin with. Weekly updates on student's fitness and progression along with advertising sporting activities within the local area, a news page of the schools achievements and a healthy eating room linking to Science giving advice on nutrition. Challenge is accessible to all
It is based on increasing personal fitness whilst working as part of a team, students therefore need not feel any individual pressure in succeeding on their own.
Aims and Objectives
Engage students to not only think about their well-being but also talking about and using their IT skills to navigate the VLE with confidence and enthusiasm.
The tracking of progress by students will really encourage them to log onto the VLE.
